Austin was very excited to start school. He had a wonderful first week.
We Made it through the first week of school... many more to come. Austin looks forward to school every day. I look forward to picking Austin up from school every day, anxiously waiting to see how his day went. I still can't believe he is old enough to be going to school. Yes, I cried just a little on the first day. Austin on the other hand, gave me a hug then waved goodbye, and off he went, no hesitation. He is so ready for school, but it is definitely hard to see him grow up so fast. He will do great!! We love our Austin and are so proud of him. He truly is an amazing kid.
Austin's Teacher is Mr. Mattern. I think he is a perfect fit for Austin. At Rosa Parks they have 5 different Kindergarten classes, three of which are full day. Austin is half day, with only 13 kids in his class. I am so happy that Austin gets to attend such a great school. We are excited to begin a new journey with Austin. We love him dearly.
