Disneyland

Memorial Day weekend I flew to Vegas for two reasons. One: because Austin had a visit with Mike and his grandparents that live in vegas.  Two: to visit my BF Keri who lives in Vegas.
We had the BEST girls weekend ever! We drove to Disneyland with Keri's sister Kellie and roommate Brittany, I provided free tickets for all of course. Thanks to my Husband!
Here are some highlights from the trip. Sorry Keri I stole some from your blog, heheehe!

It was Kellie's birthday one of the days we were there, so we got to sing the Disney Happy Birthday song to her over and over and over again. And she loved it :)

We got to eat at the Blue Bayou restaurant (the one inside Pirates of the Caribbean). It was so cute, and delish! It is always been tradition in my family to eat there. It was a first for the ladies I was with. Kellie also got a free desert, for simply displaying her Disney Happy Birthday pin.

I introduced Keri to the Monte Cristo sandwich at the New Orleans Cafe. So yummy.

Making the most hideous faces on every ride that takes your picture.

Eating Cotton Candy. I LOVE that stuff.

Awkward speed walking races through the park.

Me and Britt's blood curdling screams the first time we rode California Screamin'. But we rode that ride so many times that by the last time, I don't think we even made a sound.

I finally got to see the Aladdin show. I've always wanted to go, but could never seem to fit it into our tight Disneyland schedule.

Getting handed 4 "go straight to the front of the line" passes by a complete stranger that apparently didn't speak English. Too bad we got them an hour before closing, so we couldn't use all of them. We did, however, share them with this cute little family that was at the very end of the line for the Nemo ride. They were so grateful- they had some exhausted kids!

Riding California Screamin' at night while the fireworks show was going on. Both nights.

I got to experience the Bugs Life show for the first time.

Going on Tower of Terror and lifting our feet and hands. While screaming our heads off, so scary!

Waiting in line for Aladdin.

I'm pretty sure Keri spent most of her time laughing at me.

Bugs Life Show. Surprisingly freaky.
Happy Birthday. Happy Birthday To You!

I had a blast with these girls. We will be doing it again!

TWO WEEKS LATER...

Disneyland :  Avery's first trip.
Two weeks after going with Keri, Kellie, and Britt. I went with Anson, Avery, John and Ann (Austin was with Mike in Reno for his summer visit).

Avery had so much fun. She was such a good girl.
It was fun to watch her reactions on all the different kid rides. She absolutely loved the Aladdin show. Ann is 20 weeks pregnant here, YEA! She was a good sport to watch Avery while we went on bigger rides.  I am pretty sure her and John will no longer share a hotel room with us because Avery decided to wake up at 5:45 am, yikes.

People say Avery looks like the little girl in Monsters Inc.

This is what happens when you go on "its a small world" can't stand that ride!

We flew down to Disneyland but Avery and I drove back to Reno with Ann and John, so we could visit Austin. WOW, 10 hours is a very long time in a car with Avery!!!
